Nargges Albekord - President
Active in local organizations such as, Iranian Association in Central Florida, former board member of Iranian Cultural Association, and active in IACC since 2005. IACC's Chair of Membership Committee & Secretary (2008-2015), Vice President & Secretary (2017), and President since 2018. Member of other organizations such as, National Museum of Women in the Arts, and SAMAN Ensemble (Persian Classic Music group). Member of selection committee of Artists in Action & Artists in Residence programs of Art & History Museums, Maitland since 2017. Holds a B.S. in the Computer Science from University of Central Florida (UCF), a B.F.A. in painting from UCF, and M.F.A. in Studio Art and The Computer from UCF. Currently, adjunct professor in Valencia College, teaching Studio Art in East campus while making art in the Central Studio, her own studio-gallery.
